As disciples of Jesus, we are not perfect. We stumble daily. But at the core of what makes us a disciple of Jesus is not how religious we are, not how many sins we can avoid in a day, and not how much work we can do for the kingdom.
A disciple of Jesus humbles himself and acknowledges God’s right to rule in his life. A disciple of Jesus comes to him with his heart’s ears prepared to hear what he has to teach today.
