Here are my five favorite articles from the blogosphere this week! I hope something from the list inspires you to be a better you!
- I only recently started reading Henri Nouwen, but have been blessed with his insights thus far! You’ll be encouraged by The Basis of our Security.
- Ever thought of writing a book? Self-publishing is no longer its former taboo self, previously known as “Vanity Publishing.” With a drastic shift in the digital world in the last year, it’s easier than ever to get your message out. And if you want to learn how, there’s no better person to learn from than Jane Friedman. Check out her article How to Self-Publish Your Book.
- Church planter, Ben Sturke, addresses an issue all Christians struggle with, evangelism [cue the shuddering, heartburn and diarrhea]. If evangelism is something you struggle with–but more so, if you think of yourself as an experienced expert–you’ll want to read his authentic and articulate thoughts on The Two Ways Christians Fail at Evangelism.
- Even though it started two days ago, I think this article I wrote last year about Whether Christians Should Observe Lent, is an important topic worthy of reflection. Do you celebrate Lent? Why or why not? I’d love to hear you thoughts in the comments.
- You may have to buckle your seat belt a little tighter for James Altucher, but his unique approach to life is inspiring and challenging. You’ll get a kick out of his article, 10 Reasons Reading Makes Your Life Better.
Well , there you go. I’d love to hear your thoughts on any of these articles.
Have a blessed Weekend!

Glad you found the article helpful, Scott! Thanks for taking the time to link to it, and for making me laugh out loud (“diarrhea”).
