“Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.” -Psalm 27:3
This is worth meditating on without much comment. Even the very presence of the enemy, if an army should surround him and have him cornered, it would not shake David’s faith in the Lord. He would remain confident.
What shakes our faith? What causes our heart to fear? Is a real and present enemy too much for the Lord?
